Seventeen Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts from Allendale were among more than 6,000 Guides and Scouts from numerous countries participating in the Windsor International Guide and Scout Camp (WINGS 2009), camping on the grounds of Windsor Castle. When not in camp, the group visited various sights in London, Bath, Stonehenge, Salisbury and Greenwich.
