Mountain Resorts Take Renewable Energy To The Next Level

Several mountains are taking the next step and making significant investments in their own, on-site renewable energy projects.

Resorts still coping despite poor snowfalls.

Ski resort operators in the Snowy Mountains say they have managed to salvage the season despite the lowest snowfalls for more than two decades. Gary Grant from Perisher says visitor numbers will be down this year but the season has been saved by snow-making facilities.
